Introduction
You can manage your Shadow PC storage directly from your account page. Extra storage will appear as a secondary drive (D:) on your Shadow PC.
⚠️ Important: Removing storage will delete all content on the D: drive. Please back up your data and shut down your Shadow PC before making any changes.
Add or Remove Storage
- Log in to your Shadow account page.
- Go to All my PCs under the Shadow PC section.
- Select the PC you want to modify.
- Click Settings → Configuration.
- Use the slider to set the total amount of additional storage you want.
- Complete your order and proceed with the payment.
💡 Note: The slider adjusts the total amount of extra storage, not just what you're adding or removing.
Available Storage Options
- Maximum storage: Up to 5 TB
- Added in increments of: 256 GB
- Based on availability
Billing
- Storage additions are charged immediately.
- The first charge is prorated for the remaining days of the current billing cycle.
- Full billing will begin on your next invoice.
Removing Storage
- You can remove storage at any time from your account page.
- The removal will take effect at your next subscription renewal date.
- 📌 Back up your data before removal, as the D: drive will be deleted.
Alternatives: External Storage Options
Cloud Storage
- Compatible with Shadow Drive and other cloud solutions.
USB Drives / External Hard Drives
- You can connect devices using USB passthrough.
- Recommended usage: file transfers only (not ideal for real-time use due to latency).

How to Back Up Your Data
- Use a cloud storage solution (e.g., Shadow Drive).
- Or connect a USB storage device to transfer files manually.
