Making Windows Defender Compatible with Shadow

To make your Windows Defender compatible with Shadow, follow these steps:

Opening Ports on Windows Defender Firewall

1. Open Windows Defender Firewall.
2. Click Advanced settings.
3. Choose Outbound Rules New Rule...
4. Choose Port, then click Next.
5. Choose TCP or UDP. You can create another rule for either protocol later. Choose Specific local ports and enter 8001-15299.
6. Complete the remaining steps in the window, then click Finish.
