We've identified connectivity issues when using Shadow PC with the Freebox Delta. These issues may result in slowdowns, packet loss, and overall disruptions to your Shadow experience.
Troubleshooting steps
If you're using a Freebox Delta, try the following solutions:
-
Disable 4G Aggregation
- The Freebox Delta can combine 4G with your primary internet connection to improve speeds, but it can introduce instability.
-
Request a Full Stack IPv4 address from your Free account
- By default, Free may assign a shared IP (Carrier-Grade NAT), which can cause connection issues with Shadow PC.
- Requesting a full stack IP will ensure your IP address is no longer shared between multiple users.
-
Test a different connection type
- If you're connected via Ethernet and still experiencing issues, try switching to Wi-Fi.
- Conversely, if you are on Wi-Fi, test a wired Ethernet connection for improved stability.
-
Try another internet connection
- Connect to a different network (e.g., mobile hotspot, another ISP) to determine if the problem is specific to your Freebox Delta.
-
Check Free's network status
- Visit Free's service status page or forums to see if there are any known network issues in your area.
- If connectivity problems persist, contact Free’s customer support.
