V-101 - Shadow timeout error

The launcher timed out while waiting to connect to Shadow PC, causing the V101 error.

Cause

This error V-101 typically occurs when your Shadow PC is temporarily unavailable. Common triggers include recent changes to the Windows environment, such as system updates or maintenance tasks.

Solution

To resolve this issue:

  1. Power off your Shadow PC: Use the Shadow app to shut down your Shadow PC.
  2. Wait for 20 minutes: Allow Shadow PC to process updates or maintenance tasks.
  3. Reconnect to Shadow PC: After waiting, restart your Shadow PC and attempt to connect again.
