View information related to a Shadow PC

In the "PC" tab of your Shadow Manager, when you click on one of your Shadow PCs, a side menu will open on the right side of your screen for you to manage the PC. Here is what it contains:

• The type of offer.

• The storage available on the Shadow PC.

• The Datacenter.

• The machine's date of creation.

• The subscription's next renewal date.
  

  The subscription is automatically renewed without notice.

• The user assigned to this Shadow PC.

Subscribe to a new Shadow PC

1. Click on the create your first Shadow PC button.

2. Choose the configuration that you want.

3. Add extra storage for this Shadow PC if needed. You can see the monthly price of your Shadow PC on the right.

4. Click "Order".

5. Fill in your payment method.

Adding additional storage to a Shadow PC

1. Click on the Shadow PC to which you want to add storage. A menu opens on the right side of your screen.

2. Click on the Configuration button. You will be redirected to the shop where you can select how much storage you want to add.

Assign or Unassign a Shadow PC

Assign a user:

1. Click on the corresponding Shadow PC.

2. The drop-down menu opens and you can assign one of your users directly here.

Unassign:

1. Click on the corresponding Shadow PC.

2. The drop-down menu opens. At the bottom of the menu, click the "Remove Access" button which appears if the Shadow PC has already been assigned to one of your users.

Factory reset a Shadow PC

Doing a factory reset will remove all data and programs from a Shadow PC.

1. Click on the Shadow PC you want to reset. A menu opens on the right side of your screen.

2. Click on the button with 3 dots at the top right of the menu.

3. Click on "Reset this PC".

4. A security pop-up will open, follow the instructions.

5. Choose the type of configuration you want.

6. Choose the language of Windows.

7. Choose your keyboard language. Your Shadow PC is now ready!

Delete a Shadow PC

1. Click on the Shadow PC you want to delete. A menu will open on the right side of your screen.

2. Click on the 3 dots button at the top right of the menu.

3. Click on "Delete"

Rename a Shadow PC

1. Click on the Shadow PC you want to rename.

2. A menu opens on the right side of your screen. Click on the 3 vertical dots at the top right of this menu.

3. Click on "Rename this PC".

   A new pop-up window opens, from which you can give your Shadow PC a new name.
   

   Special characters (such as @, #, $, %,) cannot be used to name a Shadow PC.
   The name of your Shadow PC must contain at least 3 characters.

4. Click "Confirm" to rename your Shadow PC.

Manage Shadow PC tags

1. Click on the Shadow PC of your choice.

2. A menu opens on the right side of your screen. Click on the 3 vertical dots at the top right of this menu.

3. Click on "Manage tags".

4. A new pop-up window opens, from which you can:

   1. View tags associated with your Shadow PC by looking below the search bar. 

   2. Create a new tag by entering the tag name and clicking on the "Create" button.
      New tags are automatically assigned to the Shadow PC you are currently managing.

      Special characters (such as @, #, $, %,) cannot be used to tag a Shadow PC.
      A tag must contain at least 3 characters.

   3. Assign one or several tags to your Shadow PC by searching for an existing tag via search bar

   4. Delete one or several tags associated with your Shadow PC by clicking on the cross  linked to the tag(s) of your choice

5. Click on "Confirm" to validate the tags associated with your Shadow PC.
