Shadow PC is compatible with most microphones. To use your microphone with Shadow PC, enable the microphone from the Audio tab in the Quick Menu. Make sure to test your microphone once you've finished setup.
To open the Quick Menu
Start Shadow PC and click the Shadow PC icon at the top of the screen.
If you can't see the icon, the Quick Menu is disabled or incompatible with this device. Try using keyboard shortcuts to use Quick Menu commands.

Connect the microphone to Shadow PC
Windows & macOS
- Start Shadow PC.
- Once Shadow has started, open the Quick Menu.
- Click the Audio tab.
- In the Audio tab, enable the microphone
- Select the input device
Note: You can also enable the microphone in the Shadow PC launcher, but you can only select the input device in the Quick Menu.
Android & iOS
- Start Shadow PC.
- Once Shadow has started, open the Quick Menu.
- Tap Settings → Audio.
- Tap Enable microphone.
- Shadow PC will automatically connect to your microphone.
Note: You may need to give Shadow PC permission to use your microphone. Follow the prompts on your screen to allow this feature.
Test the microphone on Shadow PC
Using Shadow, launch your favorite VoIP app, in-game chat, or recording software and begin speaking into the microphone to see if the app picks up the sound of your voice.

Shadow PC will not detect your microphone if it is not detected on your local device. Make sure your microphone is working on your local device before following this guide.
You can also forward your USB device, although this solution is not recommended for headsets, microphones, or any audio devices. Disable the microphone from the Quick Menu before forwarding the device.
Why isn't any input detected from my microphone?
If your microphone is connected, but your voice is muted on calls or in recordings, make sure the microphone is not muted in your local settings or on Shadow PC.
