Issue
Your cursor may move outside the Shadow PC window on iOS, even if the mouse is locked. Locking the mouse is supposed to confine the cursor within the Shadow PC application window to prevent it from unintentionally moving outside the window's parameters, jumping suddenly, or moving at accelerated speeds.
Cause
iOS includes features that modify the overlay or display area, which are incompatible with Shadow PC's mouse-locking software.
Solution
Follow these steps to improve mouse lock functionality:
- Avoid Multitasking Features: Refrain from using Slide Over and Split View while interacting with Shadow PC to maintain consistent mouse functionality. This allows Shadow PC to use the full screen as it's designed to on iOS.
- Verify that the Shadow PC application is active and in the foreground. See About Automatic Shutdown and Shadow for more details.
- If you press the Escape key, the pointer will unlock. Click inside the Shadow PC window to relock it. If that does not work, restart the Shadow PC application.
- Disable AssistiveTouch: To prevent input conflicts, consider turning off AssistiveTouch when using Shadow PC.
