Shadow Drive is available as a mobile app on Android and iOS. While both platforms allow file access, uploads, and basic management, Android offers more detailed synchronization settings. The Shadow Drive web app primarily enables file browsing, editing, and sharing.
Main Interface
Android
- The main page displays shared files.
- Sorting options: A-Z, newest, oldest, and size.
- The “+” button provides multiple upload options:
- Upload from local storage or other apps.
- Upload from the camera or scan documents.
- Create a new folder or text document.
iOS

- Three shortcuts: Upload, Create Folder, and Scan.

- Upload photos/videos or files from local storage.
- Scan documents, create folders, add folder info, create text documents, or record voice memos.
Navigation & Additional Views
Android
Access other views via the menu (top-left corner):
- All Files, Favorites, Media, Shared, On Device, Notifications, Uploads, and Deleted Files.
iOS
Access additional views at the bottom of the screen:
- Favorites – Displays favorited files.
- Media – Displays only media files.
Settings
Android
Accessible from Settings → General Settings (bottom of the main page). Options include:
- Data storage folder, Theme, App passcode, Show hidden files, Auto upload, Sync calendar & contacts, Help, Privacy, Source Code, License, and App Version.
iOS
Accessible via More > Settings. Options include:
- Auto Upload, Lock, Enable Touch/Face ID, Splash Screen when inactive, and Download Configuration Profile.
