Introduction
The WebDAV protocol allows third-party tools to connect to Shadow Drive, enabling the use of NAS servers, file transfer software like Cyberduck and Filezilla, and mounting a network drive with macOS, Windows, or Linux system's built-in features.
Creating a Security Token
- Log in to your Shadow Drive account at https://drive.shadow.tech.
- Click on the 'Sync' icon.
- In the new window, you will see a list of existing tokens. Create a new security token by clicking on the appropriate button.
- Choose a name for the token and click to generate it.
- Enter the following information into your software/device to connect to Shadow Drive: login name, password, and WebDAV URL (server address).
Important: Copy the new personal access token immediately, as it will not be visible after switching tabs or closing the window.
Note
FTP access is not enabled on Shadow Drive. Consider using WebDAV as an alternative when necessary.
