Introduction
You can customize your notification settings separately for the Shadow Drive Web, Desktop, and Mobile apps. Each app’s notification settings are independent and do not sync across platforms.
Updating notification rules
To update your notification rules on Shadow Drive, follow these steps according to your platform:
Web App
In the Web App, you can enable the following notifications:
- Send email reminders about unhandled notifications.
- Play sound when a new notification arrives.
- Play sound when a call starts (available with the Nextcloud Talk feature).
To modify the Web App notifications:
- Log in to the Shadow Drive Web Client.
- Click your profile picture at the top right corner of your screen.
- Click Settings.
- Click Notifications on the left side of the window.
Desktop Client App
In the Desktop Client App, you can enable the following notifications:
- Play sound when a new notification arrives.
- Play sound when a call starts (available with the Nextcloud Talk feature).
To modify the Desktop Client App notifications:
- Open the Shadow Drive Desktop Client.
- Click your profile picture.
- Click Settings.
- In the new window, click General.
Mobile App
The Shadow Drive Mobile App will follow the notification settings configured on your mobile device. To adjust notifications, change your device’s settings.
