If you still have an active Power Upgrade that was activated before May 4, 2023, please note that your current Upgrade might be slightly different.
You can switch to the updated Power Upgrade (Power+) directly via your Customer Space. Please back up your main storage data before getting Power+ as it will be lost during the process. Your extra storage will remain untouched.
Currently, the Power Upgrade is unavailable to users on the Texas Data Center, we are working to bring it in this DC as early as possible in 2023.

How can I know if there are still Power Upgrades available?
We will communicate on the shop our next batch if we run out of stock.
I already paid my bill for the Shadow Offer and want to get the Power Upgrade. Will it charge me again for the Upgrade right away, or will it charge me on my next billing date?
If you upgrade your Shadow Offer with the Power Upgrade, you will immediately pay a pro-rata of the Power Upgrade price per month, calculated from the activation day of your Power Upgrade to the renewal date of your Shadow Offer. At the same time, a credit is applied to your old Shadow Offer. The details will be written on your invoice.
Important: The 3Dsecure verification realized by your bank includes the full price of your offer with the Power Upgrade and your additional storage. Depending on your bank, this amount might be taken but refunded quickly. In any case, your bank will refund you quickly for any exceeding amount.
For the next months, you will get charged with the Power Upgrade on the same date (the initial renewal date of your Shadow Offer).
Can I withdraw from the Power Upgrade and get a refund for that motive?
When you subscribe to Shadow, you explicitly renounce to your right to retract. We ask for this because for every new user we have to deploy hardware, buy a Windows license and so on, which represents a huge cost. Once you have been activated on your Power Upgrade, you cannot withdraw and get a refund for that particular motive.
What will become of the Ultra and Infinite subscriptions that are already active?
You will have the choice to change for the Power Upgrade or keep your active Ultra or Infinite subscription.
Will my Ultra or Infinite pre-order interfere with the Power Upgrade?
Not at all and your Power Upgrade pre-order will have priority if we never delivered on our past promises.
I have an Ultra or Infinite pre-order. Will I get prioritized if I want to have the Power Upgrade instead?
We indeed want to prioritize our users who are still on the waiting list to receive an Ultra or Infinite offer.
How do I remove the Power Upgrade?
If you want to get back to the Shadow Offer without the Power Upgrade, you will have to cancel your active subscription and get a new one.
How can I get a Power Upgrade Early Access? Is it only for those with an active pre-order for the Ultra or Infinite offers?
Power Upgrade Early Access will be available for part of our Community, with a particular priority given to our users who are still on the waiting list to receive an Ultra or Infinite offer. If you fulfill this condition, you might be contacted for the Power Upgrade Early Access which includes a 5€/$/£ discount per month.

I have a Power Upgrade Early Access. How long does the discount last?
The discount (-5€/$/£) will be applied as long as you keep your Power Upgrade Early Access.
I have a Power Upgrade Early Access. Can I still get the Power Upgrade?
To go from the Power Upgrade Early Access to the Power Upgrade, you will have to change your offer in the Customer Space but you will lose your 5€/$/£ discount.
I have the possibility to join the Early Access. In which datacenter will my virtual machine be located?
If you decide to join the Early Access, your virtual machine will be located in the FRDUN02 datacenter (Gravelines - France). If you do not wish to be migrated, you can still preorder the normal Power Upgrade.
How do I remove the Power Upgrade?
If you want to get back to the Shadow Offer without the Power Upgrade, you will have to cancel your active subscription and get a new one.
How do we prioritize customers in the pre-order queue?
We will prioritize our users who were still on the waiting list to get an Ultra or Infinite offer. Besides that, the Upgrade will be proposed to the users who answered first to our form.
Is there a financial commitment for Power Upgrade pre-orders?
There is no financial commitment for the Power Upgrade pre-orders. Financial commitment only starts when you get contacted to actually purchase it.
How can I pre-order the Power Upgrade if I have a Shadow Ultra or Infinite subscription?
You will be contacted by email starting on September 20th, 2022 in order to preorder the Power Upgrade if you want to.

Does the Power Upgrade include extra storage?
The Power Upgrade does not include additional storage, any extra storage needs to be added with the Shadow Offer from the Customer Space.
I already own the Shadow Offer and I would like to Upgrade it with the Power Upgrade. Do I keep my current data by doing so?
It depends on the DC (Data Center) where your VM (Virtual Machine) is located: - The Power Upgrade will not be available on every DC depending on the remaining stock, you might consequently need to be migrated in order to get a Power Upgrade, leading to a reset of your data. - If your VM is on a DC where a Power Upgrade is available, no reset will be needed.
