How to repair your Shadow Box

This article will help you to fix some issues that you can have with your Shadow box. With simple handling, you can fix the following issues:
🚨 Warning: These handling will cancel the guarantee of your Shadow Box. Follow them only if your Box is not under guarantee anymore.
How to open the Shadow Box.
You will need the following screwdriver's mouthpiece to dismantle the box:
Box Early Bird : Hexa 2
Shadow Box : Etoile 8

Take the right screwdriver depending your box type and unscrew the different part as you can see below:

Once this step is done, the handling will be different depending the box you have:
Box Early Bird: The base with the motherboard can be simply slide and you can easily access to the connections
Shadow Box: You will need more manipulations :
Unscrew and remove the metal base first.
Slide the white leds support outwards:
Unscrew the rear part of the box
Gently remove the motherboard
To reassemble the box, do the reverse manipulation
My Shadow box starts in the BIOS menu.
If you get this screen every time you start your Shadow Box, it means that the Micro SD card (which contains Shadow's operating system) is unreadable.
In most cases, this is linked to simply disengaging this SD card.
This problem can be fix simply by snapping the card back into its base as the image below :
My screen is stuck or I have an error message when I try to launch my Shadow Box.
It is possible that a simple restart of your Shadow Box can solve the problem.
However, if the error message or the frozen screen (shown below) continue to appear, the problem may be with the fan.
The problem can be fixed simply by looking to see if something is blocking the fan. Usually, the case will make a louder noise. It is therefore advisable to clean it in order to clean it.. For this, you can use a dust cloth, a cotton swab, a brush and / or a spray of dry air..
Also remember to see if the fan's power connector is properly econnected on the motherboard as the photo below:
It is possible that this kind of problem will also appear if the device inside your box is not stable. In this case, remember to screw the motherboard securely to the elements of the box to make sure nothing is moving inside.
