Accepted Payment Methods for Shadow

Currently, you can pay for your Shadow PC subscription, Shadow Drive, and our additional services with major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

We currently do not accept prepaid debit cards, but some markets currently support PayPal as shown in the chart below:

Shadow is currently only available in the United States and in the following countries: Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, and Spain.

We accept PayPal, PayPal Express Checkout, and the majority of credit and debit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Prepaid debit cards, on the other hand, are not accepted.

Whether you are a PayPal user or not, we offer you the PayPal virtual wallet solution, which enables you to make your purchase without having to communicate your bank details.

Note: Please note that if you are not a PayPal user, PayPal will invite you to sign up for an account to speed up your new transactions, but this is not compulsory.

PayPal & PayPal Express Checkout can also be used to automatically pay your subscription each month, as long as you use a card stored in PayPal. Other PayPal means are not available for the auto-renewal.

You'll pay for the first month of subscription upfront.

Direct debit or PayPal payment will only be made upon delivery of your Shadow PC/Drive.

Your new monthly billing date will be set up to that date, and your second monthly payment will be debited one month after accessing your account.

Note: Please note that it is not possible to change your billing date.

Setup fees are requested in exchange for the setup and connection cost of your Shadow PC in the data center where it is hosted.

This initial charge is billed only once when the service is set up.

Depending on your offer or subscription package, set-up fees may be waived.

To avoid any payment-related service interruptions, your monthly subscription will be paid by automatic renewal using the same payment method you used to place your order.

No commitment is required, and you are free to cancel the service at any time*

⚠️ Please note that cancellation will only be effective at the end of the current billing cycle and that the remaining time on your Shadow PC will not be refunded.

Here are the most common reasons that lead to payment failure:

  • Insufficient funds

  • Authorization required

  • Incorrect billing information

  • Incorrect payment information

  • High risk and fraud

We use Chargebee as a provider and PayPal (for PayPal users) and Stripe (for other payment means) to secure the payment.

If you have a discount or referral code, enter it in the last step of the checkout process to benefit from your discount at checkout.

You can recover your invoices on your account page (account tab).

Unless an imperative statutory provision provides otherwise, Shadow will not make any refund due to the termination of the Services.
