La fonctionnalité de clonage vous permet de reproduire une machine virtuelle Shadow Pro existante pour en créer de nouvelles, de manière rapide et autonome.</p>\n<h3 id=\"h_01JVPCAZR5F9GGF0ST0V28CDMC\">Qu'est-ce que le clonage de Shadow PC Pro ?</h3>\n<p>Le clonage consiste à créer une ou plusieurs copies exactes du <strong>stockage principal</strong> (le disque C:\\) d'un de vos Shadow PC Pro existants (la \"VM source\"). Chaque copie sert ensuite de base à un nouveau Shadow PC Pro (une \"VM clone\").</p>\n<p>Cette opération est particulièrement utile pour déployer rapidement des postes de travail pré-configurés ou des environnements de test standardisés.</p>\n<h3 id=\"h_01JVPCAZR5R229XAGTX2GCETM1\">Conditions et points importants concernant le clonage</h3>\n<p>Avant de cloner un Shadow PC Pro, assurez-vous de respecter les conditions suivantes et prenez en compte ces points :</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>Compte B2B requis :</strong> Le clonage est une fonctionnalité réservée aux comptes Shadow catégorisés comme \"B2B\" (avec un numéro de TVA valide).<br>Si votre compte est \"Particulier\", veuillez <a href=\"https://support.shadow.tech/hc/en-us/articles/32731826120081-Contacting-Shadow-Support\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contacter le support Shadow pour demander la conversion</a>. Vous devrez fournir votre numéro de TVA et le nom de votre entreprise.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>VM Source compatible :</strong> La VM source que vous souhaitez cloner doit être un Shadow PC de type \"Pro\" et doit impérativement être équipée d'une licence Windows Enterprise (fournie par Shadow ou BYOL - Bring Your Own License).</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Même Datacenter :</strong> La VM source et toutes les VM clones créées devront impérativement être hébergées dans le même datacenter. Vous ne pouvez pas cloner une VM d'un datacenter vers un autre.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Même stockage principal :</strong> La VM source et les VM clones auront le même volume de stockage principal.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Seul le stockage principal est cloné :</strong> Le contenu des volumes de stockage additionnel (les disques secondaires que vous auriez pu ajouter) n'est PAS inclus dans l'opération de clonage. Vous devrez les rattacher ou les recréer sur les machines clonées si nécessaire.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Vérification des licences logicielles :</strong> Étant donné que le contenu du stockage principal est copié à l'identique, il est de votre responsabilité de vérifier que vous disposez des licences logicielles nécessaires pour l'utilisation des applications sur chaque VM clone, conformément aux termes des licences que vous avez acquises (notamment pour les licences par poste).</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Facturation :</strong> Chaque VM clone est facturée individuellement dès sa création, en plus de la VM source.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Indépendance des clones :</strong> Une fois créées, les VM clones sont totalement indépendantes de la VM source. Toute modification effectuée ultérieurement sur la VM source n'affectera en aucun cas les clones, et inversement.</li>\n<li>\n<strong><span style=\"color: red;\">Important : La VM source doit être ÉTEINTE !</span></strong> Pour lancer le processus de clonage, la machine virtuelle source doit impérativement être éteinte. Vous ne pourrez pas cloner une machine en cours d'exécution.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3 id=\"h_01JVPCAZR5KAY35E0BGHY0W1BC\">Comment lancer une opération de clonage ?</h3>\n<p>Si vous respectez les conditions ci-dessus, suivez ces étapes pour cloner votre Shadow PC Pro :</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Connectez-vous à votre <a href=\"https://eu.shadow-prod.tech/manager/vm/list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">espace client Shadow (Manager)</a>.</li>\n<li>Assurez-vous que la <strong>VM source est éteinte</strong>.</li>\n<li>Cliquez sur la VM source que vous souhaitez cloner dans la liste de vos Shadow PC.</li>\n<li>Dans le panneau d'information latéral qui s'affiche, cliquez sur le bouton \"Cloner ce Shadow PC\".<br><img src=\"https://support.shadow.tech/hc/article_attachments/35433585874961\" alt=\"Screenshot 2025-05-16 at 18.18.07.png\">\n</li>\n<li>Une nouvelle page ou fenêtre s'ouvrira pour configurer les clones. Vous pourrez :\n<ul>\n<li>Visualiser le datacenter (il est pré-sélectionné et correspond à la VM source).</li>\n<li>Choisir le type de licence Windows pour les clones (Shadow ou BYOL).</li>\n<li>Sélectionner le nombre de clones souhaités (vous pouvez en créer jusqu'à 50 en une seule opération).</li>\n<li>Choisir la période de facturation pour les nouvelles machines.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Cliquez sur \"Continuer\" ou équivalent, puis suivez les étapes pour procéder au paiement des nouvelles machines.</li>\n<li>Une fois le paiement validé, le processus de création des VM clones commencera. The cloning feature allows you to replicate an existing Shadow Pro virtual machine to create new ones, quickly and autonomously.</p>\n<h3 id=\"h_01JVPC98B3BD1EB81G5V8DSYMW\">What is Shadow Pro PC Cloning?</h3>\n<p>Cloning consists of creating one or more exact copies of the <strong>main storage</strong> (the C:\\ drive) of one of your existing Shadow Pro PCs (the \"source VM\"). Each copy then serves as the basis for a new Shadow Pro PC (a \"clone VM\").</p>\n<p>This operation is particularly useful for quickly deploying pre-configured workstations or standardized test environments.</p>\n<h3 id=\"h_01JVPC98B4X397VVPZNV0Y9QBA\">Conditions and Important Points Regarding Cloning</h3>\n<p>Before cloning a Shadow Pro PC, please ensure you meet the following conditions and consider these points:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>B2B Account Required:</strong> Cloning is a feature reserved for Shadow accounts categorized as \"B2B\" (with a valid VAT number).<br>If your account is \"Particular\" (Individual), please <a href=\"https://shdw.me/HC-B2C-Support_Form\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contact Shadow Support to request the conversion</a>. You will need to provide your VAT number and company name.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Compatible Source VM:</strong> The source VM you wish to clone must be a \"Pro\" type Shadow PC and must be equipped with a Windows Enterprise license (provided by Shadow or BYOL - Bring Your Own License).</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Same Datacenter:</strong> The source VM and all clone VMs created must be hosted in the same datacenter. You cannot clone a VM from one datacenter to another.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Same Main Storage:</strong> The source VM and the clone VMs will have the same main storage volume.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Only Main Storage is Cloned:</strong> The content of additional storage volumes (secondary drives you may have added) is NOT included in the cloning operation. You will need to attach or recreate them on the cloned machines if necessary.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Software License Verification:</strong> Since the main storage content is copied identically, it is your responsibility to verify that you hold the necessary software licenses for using applications on each clone VM, in accordance with the terms of the licenses you have acquired (especially for per-seat licenses).</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Billing:</strong> Each clone VM is billed individually upon creation, in addition to the source VM.</li>\n<li>\n<strong>Clones are Independent:</strong> Once created, the clone VMs are completely independent of the source VM. Any subsequent modification made to the source VM will not affect the clones in any way, and vice-versa.</li>\n<li>\n<strong><span style=\"color: red;\">Important: The Source VM must be SHUT DOWN!</span></strong> To start the cloning process, the source virtual machine must be shut down. You cannot clone a machine that is currently running.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3 id=\"h_01JVPC98B4Y5FFX3S6BH4H5MSW\">How to start a cloning operation?</h3>\n<p>If you meet the conditions above, follow these steps to clone your Shadow Pro PC:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your <a href=\"https://eu.shadow-prod.tech/manager/vm/list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shadow client area (Manager)</a>.</li>\n<li>Ensure the <strong>source VM is shut down</strong>.</li>\n<li>Click on the source VM you wish to clone from your list of Shadow PCs.</li>\n<li>In the side information panel that appears, click the \"Clone this Shadow PC\" button.<br><img src=\"https://support.shadow.tech/hc/article_attachments/35433541041297\" alt=\"Screenshot 2025-05-16 at 18.18.07.png\">\n</li>\n<li>A new page or window will open to configure the clones. You will be able to:\n<ul>\n<li>View the datacenter (it is pre-selected and matches the source VM).</li>\n<li>Choose the Windows license type for the clones (Shadow or BYOL).</li>\n<li>Select the desired number of clones (you can create up to 50 in a single operation).</li>\n<li>Choose the billing period for the new machines.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Click \"Continue\" or equivalent, then follow the steps to proceed with payment for the new machines.</li>\n<li>Once the payment is validated, the creation process for the clone VMs will begin.
