Comment fonctionne l'authentification à deux facteurs (2FA) sur Shadow?

Shadow vous offre la possibilité d'activer l'authentification à deux facteurs (2FA) afin de bénéficier d'une sécurisation avancée à votre compte. L'authentification à deux facteurs est optionnelle et désactivée par défaut lors de la création de votre compte.

Cette option vous permet d'ajouter une étape de vérification lorsque vous procédez à des actions sensibles en termes de sécurité.

\n

L'authentification simple (protection par mot de passe uniquement) est quant à elle plus facilement neutralisée, rendant votre compte et vos données plus vulnérables aux intrusions, au phishing et aux virus.

L'authentification à deux facteurs est-elle obligatoire ?

À l'heure actuelle, Shadow ne prévoit pas de rendre l'authentification à deux facteurs obligatoire pour accéder à ses différents services.

Cependant, nous vous recommandons vivement l'utilisation afin d'ajouter une sécurité supplémentaire à votre compte Shadow.

Quelles sont les actions qui nécessitent une authentification à deux facteurs quand elle est activée ?

Si vous activez l'authentification à deux facteurs, elle sera requise à chaque fois que vous aurez besoin de vous identifier pour effectuer une action.

How does Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) work on Shadow?

Shadow gives you the possibility to use two-factor authentication (2FA) to provide additional security to your account. Two-factor Authentication is optional and disabled by default on your account.

\n

It adds a verification step whenever you are about to perform a security-sensitive operation.

\n

On the other hand, single-factor authentication (password only) is easier to breach, making your account more vulnerable to malicious actors, phishing, and malware.

\n

Is Two-Factor Authentication Required?

\n

For now, Shadow doesn’t have any plans to make Two-Factor Authentication mandatory for accessing any of your services.

\n

However, we strongly recommend enabling it to provide an additional security layer to your Shadow account.

\n

Which actions require 2FA when it is enabled?

\n

If you enable Two-Factor Authentication, it will be required whenever you need to log in to perform an action.

\n
