Update your Notification Settings on Shadow Drive

It is possible to customize a few notification settings with Shadow Drive, such as adding sound or adding email reminders.

Notifications will keep you up to date about your Shadow Drive status, for example by letting you know when your storage is nearly full to avoid missing synchronized files and folders.

How to update your notifications rules on Shadow Drive?

To access the window that lets you enable your notification rules on Shadow Drive, follow the instructions according to your platform:

Note: To display notifications, push notifications should be enabled on your Browser.

Access the Shadow Drive Web Version.

Click your profile name at the top right corner of your screen.

Click "Settings".

Click "Notifications" on the left side of the window.

Open your desktop client.

Click your profile name.

Click "Settings".

On the new window, click "General" on top.

To update the notification rules of your Shadow Drive app, access the settings of your device.

Which options can you choose for your notifications?

You can choose the following options for your Browser notifications:

  • Send email reminders about unhandled notifications.

  • Play sound when a new notification arrives.

  • Play sound when a call starts.

    Note: This feature will be available when our Talk feature is launched.

The notification rules that you can set up for your Shadow Drive app will depend on your device's general settings.
